Can I take my dog into the National Park?

Dogs (and all other pets) are not permitted in Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park (accredited assistance dogs excepted).  Click here for more information.

We have an enclosure and kennel but it is really only useful for a short time and a small dog.

Alternatively, contact Big Nose Pet Services via their web site or M 0478 770 501 who can supply Doggy Day Care services in Marion Bay.  Bookings essential!

Is the property fenced?

No, the property is not fenced.  The large decking area is fenced and has a gate to keep your child (or pet) safe.

Do Not Drive on Reserve!

CAUTION Please do not drive on the reserve out the back as the local council fines any vehicles parked or driving on the nature reserve without permission.

Some local commercial operators and supply trucks (eg water deliveries) have exemption and may be observed on the reserve.

DO NOT be tempted to use this as an excuse to do the same.

Does the property have sea views?

Summer Dayz is 3 streets back from Willyama beach and overlooks a large council reserve with open space and native scrub.

This is a great area to play or walk the dog and is often visited by emu and kangaroos.

The sea is not visible from here but is a short 5 minute walk.

Can I squeeze a few extra people in?

Summer Dayz has sleeping for 10 over 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms have queen size beds and the 4th has 2 x bunk beds).  If you have booked for less than 10 and you wish to invite more people please let us know as there is a $10.00 per person per night charge for every person more than 2.

The house has resources for a maximum or 10 people.  Please do not exceed this maximum.

Do I need to supply my own linen?

Yes, you will need to bring top and bottom sheets, pillow cases and towels.  We supply pillows and quilts.

How far is the tavern away?

The Marion Bay Tavern is a 25 minute, 2.1 km walk away from the house.
